No More “The Simpsons” DVD Sets

Some news from the other week that we’ve just found time to get to.  As sacrilegious as it may sound, The Simpsons will no longer be released on DVD. Al Jean admitted during a twitter Q&A with fans that the DVD market was dying, and despite the commentaries and other bonus material people just weren’t buying them anymore.

Flim Springfield doesn’t have anything past season ten in our archive, but truly this is the end of an era. No word on if this will affect continued reissues of the sets already available. We can hope it won’t, otherwise…

I'll never buy another season again.

RIP Simpsons DVDs
