The most romantic moments in Simpsons history: #4!

Homer getting the spa tickets for Marge by test-driving a Bentley

We both made a note of this one because it’s so rare that Homer goes out of his way to do something genuinely thoughtful for his wife. Marge didn’t ask for a spa day, he wasn’t making up for something bad he did, it was just a spontaneous romantic gesture. Homer even remembers to get Grandpa to look after Maggie so his wife can just relax and enjoy an afternoon away from her many responsibilities. If you can just forget the fact that a series of freak occurrences lead to the kids being taken away by the government and put into foster care during their spa trip, you could pat Homer on the back for giving Marge the perfect day.
