The most romantic moments in Simpsons history: #8!

The Simpson family writing the gentle breakup letter to end Bart’s “romance” with Ms. Krabappel

three simple words

It’s cruel and foolish of Bart to write love letters to his desperately lonely teacher, pretending to be a man named after Woodrow Wilson who looks like Gordie Howe. But after realizing what he’s done, he wisely turns to the rest of the family for help letting her down easy. They hunker down with a notepad to write the perfect breakup note, ending their relationship but still allowing her to feel loved.  Everyone contributes something, and Homer surprises everyone with the perfect closing line.
